Master’s thesis, submitted
I handed in my master’s thesis at IREBS in October: a spatial hedonic pricing model of what more than 400 Mediterranean marinas charge for a night’s berth. The question was how much of that price comes down to location, how much to the marina itself, and whether marinas close to each other charge similar prices.
Marinas
Marinas have stayed with me past the thesis. The industry is professionalizing fast, and more investors are paying attention. I’m most interested in the part few people look at closely: how marinas set their prices, and what that means for what a marina is worth. I want to be part of how this market grows up.
Markets and my own tools
Alongside marinas, I follow the US stock market and trade it, using screeners and indicators I’ve built myself. They help me spot setups worth a closer look and test ideas more systematically. What interests me most is how broader market flows and institutional activity show up in the chart. I’ve also set up an AI assistant that works with my screeners and market data, so I can talk a setup through and check my reasoning before I act. The decisions stay mine.
